The Rotary Club of the Howe of Fife is a dual gender Club which meets in the historic setting of Fernie Castle Hotel at Letham in the Kingdom of Fife on Tuesday evenings at 5.45 pm for 6.15 pm.
The original castle dates back to the 1350's and was owned by the Earls of Fife and is reputed to be
haunted by the ghost of a young girl who, when running away from her father who disapproved of her marriage, hid in a small room in the west tower of the castle. During the struggle, when her father's men found her, she fell three storeys to her death. Occasionally she can be seen dressed in a green robe with a high neck in the guests bedrooms in the west tower.
Rotarians if you are visiting the area we would like to extend a warm welcome to you and invite you to come along to our meeting.
